Deena Rodney, APRN
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Deena Rodney, born and raised in Miami , Florida, moved to Orlando to attend University of Central Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and completed a sports medicine internship with UCF and obtained her board certification while working with the Orlando Predators, football team. Her nursing journey began at Adventist University, where she completed her Associates in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth quaternary hospital in Orlando in Neurology Specialty Units caring for a multitude of neurological patients. She also worked as a nurse educator developing various training programs.
Deena continued her education by completing her Nurse Practitioner degree at University of South Florida.
With now over 10 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in Neurology, she has a special interest in caring for patients with Myasthenia Gravis and those suffering from migraines. Deena actively participates in support programs with The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation. In 2020, she obtained her Migraine Specialty Certification and is affiliated with the National Migraine Association. Deena also has a special interest in combining eastern and western medicine and is actively expanding her studies in herbal medicine. On the weekends, Deena spends her time doing things she enjoys such as traveling, yoga, nature, crafting and spending time with her rescue dog chichi , family and friends.
